I am against it.Only God has a right to determine when it's your time to go.Besides,statistics say that 1out of 10 people on death row are innocent.

I am for it. In the lesser developed countries where they will execute you on the spot, they have much less crime if this is the penalty for getting caught. Say what you want, death is a deterrent for most people if they KNOW they will be put to death instead of sitting in prison on death row for 15 years, all expenses paid and milking the taxpayers for more money while clogging up the courts with their ridiculous appeals.

I guess it would depend on the crime. Any crimes committed against children I think should be an automatic death penalty.

i am for death penalty... some of those guys/girls gave the death penalty to people who didnt deserve it... if they dont want to do the time dont do the crime!!!

If someone kills someone or abuses a child and rapes them they should be put to death.

I am for it, and I think it needs to be expanded to include child molesters and serial rapists.
The insane defense should be removed too.
