If you twist the mouthpiece slightly and use soapy water it may help. It's a good idea to regularly rinse the internals with clean water to prevent any internal buildup.

Depending on how solid it is stuck, you may want to go to a local music store and have the repair person heat it off. Don't try this yourself.

The best way is with a special tool. Your band teacher should have one.... or a music shop that does repair work. If you beat on it or twist it... you can damage the struts and supports.

put an ice cube in the mouthpiece and your warm hand around the brass or a hot rag the mouthpiece will shrink and the brass will grow.
try it and let me know
