I love snow, but the only time I love it is when I do not have to drive in it. I love watching it snow from the window on Xmas eve and Xmas day only, then it can melt and not come back for another year.

I love snow. And I love cold weather, too.
I live in Michigan, a northern state in the USA. I like skiing, both downhill and cross country. I like snowmobiling, too. Some of the best times I've had outdoors have been cross country skiing in a blizzard. To me, being out in a heavy snowfall is so very peaceful. It's quiet, and the whole world closes in to maybe 50 or 100 feet in any direction. It's a quiet, magical time.
The other thing about winter is that it's a change. Can you imagine living somewhere with the same weather all year round? A friend used to live in San Diego. He left after 3 years because the weather was so boring! 75 degrees and sunny for months at a time. I bet the local TV and radio stations didn't even have a weatherman on staff!!! They just hired someone to phone it in! OK, I'm kidding on that part. But the nice thing about here is that the weather changes. Don't like snow? Wait a few months. It's too hot? Not for long... What's not to like!

I like snow when I can pick and choose to see it... such as when I drive to a resort, rent a room with a fireplace and can sit in front of the warm fire with a glass of wine admiring the snow from a distance and in comfort. I hate snow when it comes (especially if it's unexpected like a sudden snow dumping a ton of snow on me during the night) because I have to get up earlier, shovel the sidewalk, scrape the ice off my windshield and watch my step. Over the years, twice I'd taken pratfalls when I stepped on a sidewalk that seemed clean but there was ice there and I had my feet fly out from under me! Ouch!
I used to live where it snowed regularly during the winter. I now live in the sunny Southwest where I have to drive up into the mountains to see snow in winter, where what falls locally melts in record time, and I like it this way.
It's sure a lot safer driving without snow! Nothing worse than going downhill on a slick road and realizing that you're sliding out-of-control and might go through an upcoming intersection with no brakes because you're on black ice and S-L-I-D-I-N-G!

Well, snow's fun to visit. I've tried snowboarding a couple times, and that's really fun, but that's just it- I've only been to the snow a few times. I'm from where it does not snow, and I'm perfectly happy with warm weather.
HOWEVER I just moved to where it will snow, and I think I'm gonna die in the cold. Oh crap it's gonna suck living in it. Well, better make the most of answering cuz I've only got a month or so before it snows... :)

I have never seen, touch or play with snow at all... we don't get winter here in sunny island, Singapore..
This is why I do look forward to travel to a country, where snow will fall from the sky... cover the walkway with white little snow flecks...
I want to go snow skiing... build snowman, do snow fights etc etc...

Love it! Snowball fights, snow people, sledding, skiing, tobogganing. And what is nicer that watching a soft fluffy snow fall with a hot cocoa or cup of coffee, with some nice music in the background! Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

I absolutely Love it, because without snow, I can't go snowmobiling. Try it, you will love it. It gives me an opportunity to see various parts of the country that I would not see otherwise. It is awesome to go out into the woods where no one else is, shut off your engine and just breathe in the fresh air, hear the silence, and see the flora and fauna! Awesome!

I love snow, dont like to play in it though. I like sitting in the house, watching it snow and stay warm wrapped up in a blanket.
