What do you use for a brain? A Repuplican aide told the powerful Republican Speaker of the House about Foley's crimes, a Republican member told the Speaker. The Speaker did nothing. Tell me my witless friend where were the Democrats in this scene. The persons who had the power to do anything were Republicans. They are in charge. Don't believe that the republicans are under attack. They control the House. the Senate, the Supreme Court and the Oval Office. What they can't control is Foley perving over minors. Hey the Democrats aren't perfect but after getting all the info from your own party members and you don't act it is your fault.

The fat cats in Washington have been living so high on the hog for far so long that they probably view pages as little ants scurrying about their feet; I bet neither Dems nor Republicans give a flying **ck through a rolling donut about anyone who isn't in front of their desk (or under it) at the moment. It is time to reign them ALL in and demand the decent behavior their stature warrants. They should set examples not scandals.

Please cite evidence that the Democrats knew about this months ago and did nothing. I've heard this several times from several people, and no one can produce any evidence. The only people coming forward with any prior knowledge are all Republicans.
All I ask for is some evidence that the Democrats knew about this beforehand.
And "Because Sean Hannity says so" does not count as evidence.
PS To Jeff F -- Don't forget to mention Dan Crane. It works both ways. Quit parroting talking points. Think for yourself.

This isn't about party lines...it's about pedophiles. Why don't a lot of people do a lot of things? What kind of question is that? Are you confirming that the republicans are beyond redemption and need constant supervision?

Because it was the Republicans dirty little secret. There is no evidence to prove other wise.It just looks like the Rep. are trying to take the heat off themselves by saying they knew too.

I've gotta go with "because they didn't know about it." Heck, if the leader of Foley's own party didn't know about his activities (if you believe him), then why would you assume the Democrats did?
