Well i keep getting injured while skateboarding. This year I:
bruised the bone and trwisted my foot while skateboarding
broke my wrist while skateboarding
had to get stitches around my eye while skateboarding
AND
last year someone pushed me off the side of a ramp and i shattered a little part of my knee on cement and i had to get a surgery. my parents are pissed off about my medical bill!!
any ideas?

well the thing is, its never really ME! i think im a pretty good skteboarder but all the accidents happen when, like, someone bangs into me while im in the air, or once something fell off my board while i was going down a ramp.

If you were my son, I'd make sure you wrapped your knee and now your ankle when you skate. Because you are still growing and they are weak from previous injuries.
I know in California, when we rode bikes, we HAD to wear helmets. My kids didn't think anything of it because they were taught at an early age that it was the thing to do.
If you wear protective gear, you are going to have better protection. Maybe you can be the kid who makes it cool to wear the gear, and not worry about what anyone thinks. You want to keep skating for a long time, don't you? Then you need to protect yourself, be smarter than the other kids.

Just be more careful. wear protective gear, slow down, skate or whatever on even surfaces, etc... You may even have to give up skateboarding. When you're older you will be glad you did because if you develop arthritis,
it will most likely be worse in the joints you damaged when you were younger.

Stop falling down all of the time. And pick your closing and gear based on function not stile. Drink more milk, the calcium will make your bones stronger.

Perhaps skateboarding isn't for you or you aren't meant to be skateboarding. Think about it. Pops
