I am sick and tired of hearing about Favre should retire. It is not his fault that his OL has almost all rookies or no name players. It is not Favre's fault that his best WR was traded to Denver. It is not Favre's fault that the team's top RB fumbles every other play or is hurt. It is not Favre's fault that he playing from behind most of the games and the team's #1 pick from a couple of years back got CUT, yes released. The Packer's defense is like deer hunters in Wisconsin in November -- no safties. Thanks to Mike Sherman's idiot moves as GM, the Packer's bite and it will be at least 2-4 years to recover. How does a guy like Sherman go from GM/Coach of a storied franchise to a Coordinator on of the worst teams in the NFL? That tells you how bad he really was..

Think about this-- if Favre played for the Bears, Colts or Jacksonville this year, would there be any question? NO! Favre is the Packers. I'll take him anyday. Leave Brett alone.

GO PACK GO!

This question has two answers. First of all, for the last few seasons all I hear about my team, the Pack, is that Favre is going down, he's too old, blah blah blah. He has NO support out there on the field. Even old reliables like Driver, Green, Franks, Ferguson, can't catch the dang ball even when it's thrown with the Favre precision. He is the leader yes but he cannot throw the ball then run down the field and catch it too, he needs help from his team, something he has been lacking in these last few years. However, I think he is ready to go. He said this would be his last year regardless and that is a decision only he can make. I will miss him and his spunk on the field, along with that killer arm and smile. The problem in Green Bay is not solely Favre's fault.

Brett Favre can still play, I just dont think He has enough time left for the Packers to get a team for Him to play with.

I've got some respect for Favre and he still seems to have plenty left in him. But the team around him absolutely sucks. If he wants to get another season after this one, his best option would probably be to go elsewhere and find a team with some talent, but needs a veteran QB.

It's time, he is starting to loss his legacy like Michael Jordan did after coming back one to many times. Brett Farve is a great quarterback and will be in the Hall of Fame with no doubt but it is time to hang the cleats.

i think he should of retired knowing that there was not alot of talent around him.....he is in a lose lose situation....if he demands a trade than the fans will not like him as much anymore...if he stays with the Packers than he will be known for his last couple of years for playing with them....which are not good!!!!

No. The Packers don't have much talent around him.
