Get rid of byproducts/waste(ie oxygen)
Intake energy (ie sunlight) and the cholorplasts convert it to sugars for the cells to live off of- called photosynthesis

definetely photosynthesis, so the uptake of CO2 and release of O2 through the stomata. Second function......maybe storage of nutrients (not sure on the second one)
