I heard this woman talking about the "daggone democraps always raising my taxes"...
whatever....
and then - in the very next breath, she told this guy that he should try to get FEMA to pay for his landscaping and that she was happy to hear that her son passed his adult reading course at the community center....
Does anyone else notice this kind of non sequitur in peoples thinking?

Ok - so admittedly, Democrats raise taxes to pay for social betterment.... but the Republicans claim that they are the "Responsible Party"..... how is this NOT hypocritical????

its really the repubs who have raised taxs the most reagan and the 2 bush s have given tax cuts to the richest 1% of the country . and now the rest of us who work for a living have to pay more . right now everyone in the country is $27-28,000 in debt to the goverment given the national debt , and that does't count the intrest on it . remember the $300 so called tax cut george jr gave out , it wasnt a tax cut . it was a tax deferment . and the very wealthy made out like fat rats . what happened to tax the rich . and feed the poor ,. what we have under repubs is give more an more to the rich and take every thing from the working people of the country

Why should those relying on social assistance have a reason to hate taxes that they don't even pay? Damn straight it's hypocritical!

Irony, don't you love it?
Taxes are beneficial when we personally benefit from them such as in the forms of paved roads, public transportation, sheriff and police protection...but when it comes to paying them...we all complain because it does cost allot to enjoy the things we take for granted and those things, like FE-MA, when we need them.

Republicans are the very definition of hypocrisy. Not only do they want to cut the pie, they want to take the lion's share for themselves and leave everyone else with the crumbs. In other words, they not only want to keep all of their own earned money, they want to keep all of OUR earned money, too!
