In a panic.
Consider the desperation behind the neocon and fundy postings on this site of late.
And the Foley thing has House Republicans in what has been called "A circular firing squad" as the Squeaker and the rest try to blame what they've been hiding for at least 6 years on others.
Wonder how long until the obligatory group of four neocon-airhead answers appear???

You need to get in touch with reality.
The Republicans have condemned Foley, and haven't blamed Clinton for anything, but they have pointed out the duplicity of the Democrats evidenced by the disparity of treatment of Foley and Hastert compared to Clinton and Gerry Studds. You don't understand Iraq well enough to know if it's getting worse or not, and some of the policies of the administration are making Democrats look like morons, such as how well the tax cuts are working.
Maybe you need to break out those bumper stickers from the Kerry campaign... "Let's Pretend!"

So you guys should win both houses! But guess what ( a scary thought) your leaders will have to actually start having ideas about the country. Will they be able to turn off their hatred for Bush long enough to do something positive for the country? Guess we'll have to wait and see. When you do win I hope you like tax increses. Mr. Wrangle the leader of the ways and means committee has said many times on tv the first order of business will be a tax hike. One nonpolitical economy expert after reviewing his tax plan said that middle class taxes will go up almost 50%. They will increase taxes on small business and regulations, that will slow down the growth of the economy. But that's what you guys think will magically fix everything. And we will leave Iraq and guess who will follow us home? Maybe you should get a jump on things and learn how to speak Arabic and maybe a little Mexican. You are going to have to be able to comunicate, when they say bend over you will have to be able to say is this far enough sir in 2 or 3 different languages.
