ok i dont get it why are yall so jealous and protective? my gf get's so mad when i tlk to a girl other than her for longer than an hour. like even if i go to visit my ex gf without her she gets so mad i mean it's not like we are going to kiss or anything.
and wats wrong with being good close friends with ur ex?

well, she's your ex for a reason . . and the fact that she is your ex means that you have history with her . . if I was your gf, I'd have a problem with that, too . . . you just have to step back and ask yourself what's more important . . having your new girlfriend? or keeping your ex as a friend? . . hate to tell you, but if you want to make your girl happy, you're gonna have to choose . . .

Not ALL women are that way. She may be insecure about her relationship with you. Or, then again, you may be giving off the wrong vibes when you go see your ex. Most women (and men) get a thought in the back of their heads that maybe you still have feelings for the ex. It may not be true, but you haven't really broken things off with the ex, so it's normal for her to have those thoughts. You need to talk to her, get her to open up about her feelings. Only then will you find out why she is upset.

Um...yeah I would be mad too. Once an ex and you have a new girlfriend you shouldn't need to talk to other girls for an hour or visit your ex. I'm in a battle with my boyfriend too with things like this. I just wonder why boys can't understand this. Sorry dude, i'm with your girlfriend on this one...

Be honest would you like you girl friend to go visit her old boy friend. It's natural for both male and female to be protective. Seeing an old girl or boy friend sends the wrong signal to the other. It's normal get use to it.

There are very few women who believe a platonic relationship between men and women is possible. (I don't). Your girlfriend feels she should have exclusive rights to you. In other words you are squandering on others what is rightfully hers.
If you know this is not right you must convince her, not us here in this forum.

dude your weird why do you expect your girlfriend not to get mad when your going to go see your exgirlfriend and first place why do you need to see her you have your girlfried that you could talk to. your girlfriend has every reason to get mad. grow up and learn how to respect women.
