Poems do not necessarily have to rhyme or have structure. You can do free verse.

I write my best poems when I go with my feelings. I can't just look at a tree and write a poem about it.

A poem with ten lines
I guess it gotta rhymes.
How do I begin?
The words are just not coming!
Wait a minute, here it is!
Not too hard, the words came with ease.
Simple it might sounds
That's all I can do for now.

Eight lines are all I can think of
Will let you know when there's more :-)

Remember poems do not have to rhyme, but most people tend to prefer the rhyming ones. Please let me know what your poem is going to be about and remember "Poetry is the art in which the writer draws a picture with words." In the words of the poet Elizabeth Scott Stam from her poem "A Jingle of Words" ...In words you have a weapon -- More mighty than a gun; You can sway a multitude -- Or stir the heart of one.
Good luck.

On Yahoo Answers.

Please help this person.
Or they'll be cursin'

They need a little bit of rhymin'
It doesn't have to be a diamond.

Just any thing will be fine,
As long as it's ten line.

So don't you plainly see.
They need some poetry?

Spelling is my enemy
Reading is my curse
Writing is too difficult
Poetry is worse.
I don't know what words to use
Don't know what to say
Everytime I try to do it
Words get in my way.
Maybe I will just be quiet
Listen to the others' riot.

I will not help you write a poem
It's just not worth my time
I will not help you write a poem
I won't give you one rhyme

I will not help you write a poem
This isn't what I do
I will not help you write a poem
My words are just too few

I will not help you write a poem
This you need to do on your own

Try to rhyme some words, how hard can that be! Like hat/cat, moon/june, etc.
