Irregular cycles are something to talk to your doctor about. You could have something called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Also known as PCOS. It is characterized by excessive hair, being overweight, and irregular cycles. Don't wait to get to a doctor. He or she may put you on a birth control pill to regulate your cycle, or may prescribe Provera for 10 days to induce one, especially if you haven't had one in a year. This is not healthy so you really should discuss it ASAP with your OBGyn.

This is an irregular cycle. A doctor can help you get it regulated if he feels it is necessary and time. Please get a check up and exam so you know what is best for you and what needs to be done or not done. The doctor can find out if you are ovulating...or if there is some reason why they are or are not.
Some women have irregular cycles and that is normal for them.
Also your body may still try to be regulating itself.
Get professional advice from a good OBGYN. If you need help seeking one, ask your Mom or a trusted woman for information. Your family doctor may have someone to refer you ...or even ask the school nurse or counselor how to locate one.
You are not the only one who has ever had this happen, so take some hope there. Other women have had to seek consultation/advice for this condition.
Try not to worry. Just get the information you need and have someone work with you. Take care and best wishes.

I've had the same problem! I would go three months without a period and one day, BOOM, I bled everyday for almost 6 months! I went to the doctor and found out I have a condition called PCOS. It makes your ovaries not produce enough hormones and messes with your period. I've been on the pill since I was 19. You might want to get checked out.

Go to your doctor or gynocologist. You may need birth control to regulate your cycle. Also if you are sexually active you may have a virus that causes cancerous cells. My daughter did and it is very common. You really need to see a doctor.

It's normal. Have you gotten your period within the last two years? If you have, your body hasn't quite regulated itself.
You can always go on the pill. If you stick to it for about a year (or longer if you have need of it), it should help regulate you.

You may be over or under weight. You may have an imbalance of some kind. The bottom line is, you need to go to the doctor.
