I'd go with everyone else with Crumpler, as he is Mike Vick's favorite target (whereas Eli Manning has more targets) and he is healthy. But those just about the only reasons. Crumpler's had a case of the dropsies this year (see the Saints game). But yeah, I'd play the healthy guy (if I had a choice) 12 times out of 10 if they are comparable players.

However, I think both are capable of producing similar numbers (even if Shockey is hurt) so it's almost a tossup, so don't blame me if Shockey has better numbers! =P

Maybe you should trade one of them to shore up a weaker position.

I hate starting players with injuries because I've been burned by "gametime decisions" in the past. You have two solid TE's to choose from, so why not opt for the healthy one?

Shockey has been limited all season with injuries, so his Fantasy value has taken a hit. He is still a decent low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end for Week 6 at Atlanta unless the team determines it is best for him to rest his injury and not risk further damage. Continue to monitor the situation throughout the week.

Owners dissatisfied with Crumpler so far this season should stick it out a little longer with him and use him as a starting Fantasy tight end. Actually, Crumpler matches up well with the Giants and should put up a good game; perhaps the bye week gave him some needed rest. Start him if you own him.

I would start Crumpler simply because he is healthier. Crumpler is bound to become the threat he was the past 3 seasons. I can't see Atlanta paying him all that money and not making him a major part of their offense. Currently, he is an overpriced blocker.
