So you can pull a player back up from the minors after the post season starts?

Cool, hopefully Shelton can pull it together, he was around when the tigers were hot in the beginning of the year.

Chris Shelton was our 1stbaseman most of the season. He was sent to Toledo when we traded for Sean Casey.

He was on the 25 man roster on August 31st (cut off date).

He is NOT on the roster for THIS series, but he can be for the next series.

The Tigers will miss Casey's left handed bat, especially at Comerica Park.
But there no excuses and this no crying in baseball.

The Tigers will just have to get creative and go with the flow.

You can reorder your roster after each series. If Casey is still hurt and the Tigers make it to the WS, they can include Shelton. They'd have to drop someone else, though.

After a series, you are allowed to pull someone up, but not until then. So for now, the Tigers will have to make due, but looks like they'll be fine.

Chris Shelton. In fact, he started more games at 1B for Detroit this year than anyone.
