Out of a poll taken by census of less than 120,000 citizens? Heinz, listen-even though it's almost November-most Iraqis don't stand by that number. Wasn't there some similar "high death spin" some other November? MAYBE it is Republican spin so Republicans look at Democratic spin as despicable-dunno-but alla the sudden these numbers huh? Very peculiar indeed. That's like having an apple tree in your back yard, and as you pick one, you count 30, then the next day your neighbor congratualtes you on your tree with 3000 apples. The only word I can think of that comes to mind is.....well, cuckoo

The war has been a costly mistake, but that number is bogus- no analyst of the war on either side thinks it's even close to accurate. 100,00? Now that's possible.

This is just the sort of ridiculous exagerration we need to avoid. Every time the democrats jump on some unfounded claim like that, we wind up looking like idiots- I wouldn't be surprised if Rove or Cheney had their disinformation machines toss out that number, just to see who'd bite.

Don't believe everything you hear. The sources for that information are not reliable. I mean it sucks when innocent people die but don't forget who we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. These insurgents are usually from a foreign coutry with some crazy political or religious objective and they don't care who they hurt. American and other coalition forces do all WE can to keep innocent people from getting hurt and killed.

I heard that on the radio this morning...I thought it was pretty disgusting. It was funny in a black humor sort of way the way that Bush was defending his actions too, saying that it wasn't true, couldn't be true when it had apparently been conducted very carefully.
