I'm almost 12 weeks pregnant with twins and have never been as depressed as I am now. The pregnancy was not planned but we are very excited now. Pre-pregnancy I was working 2 jobs to make ends meet and due to medical problems I've had to cut back to just 1 job part-time. I'm beinging to sink financially and the baby's father isn't in a position to help finacnially due to his personal bills. I'm scared what's gonna happen to us. I've done everything I know to do including shutting off the cable and the phone and internet will be off shortly. I can't cut back anywhere else. I just don't know what to do and it's depressing me. Any serious suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

First of all, talk to your doctor if the depression is making life too difficult for you. There are plenty of safe medications you can take while pregnant. Then I would check into food stamps and possibly state aid for your delivery expenses, and your babies' health expenses. If you can find the money, you can talk to your doctor's office, the hospital and the pediatrician's office to prepay on some of the bills you will incur with delivery. There is no shame in doing your best to keep your head above water financially, even if it means accepting state aid, or moving to low income housing. Your babies' health and your own are much more important than anyone's pride.

Wow! That is hard. First take a deep breath. Stress can hurt your baby. Second talk to your family and see if any of them can help. Look into government funding. Medi something will pay for the baby (i cant remember if it is medicare or Medicaid). Cut back on eating out but make sure you are still eating enough. Just eat really healthy. Potatoes rice and beans are cheep and healthy. You will get enough protein from the beans so you don't have to worry about buying too much meat which is expensive.
To help with the depression make sure you have someone to talk to. That always helped me when i was pregnant.

Don't worry, things always have a way of working out.
