I forget where I heard this (it was either on the radio or TV), but Chamillionaire said that he liked the song and felt like he had reached "mega record status". Weird Al only parodies really popular songs. I wasn't mad about it, why should I be? I thought it was funny.

The parody is hilarious, and I'm sure that chamillionaire knew about it because I think Weird Al has to tell them before he does them.

Chamillionaire himself put "White and Nerdy" on his official Myspace page, and commented that he enjoys the parody. Chamillionaire (real name: Hakeem Seriki) praises Al's rapping, saying "He's actually rapping pretty good on it, it's crazy [...] I didn't know he could rap like that."

chamillionaire was not upset. he agreed to let weird al do it. weird al gets permission from all of the people he does a parody for. at first i was a lil upset but realized it was harmless fun.
