Here is a link that looks interesting, which I found when looking up the Securities Exchange Commission website for their program called Edgar. You often can get the information you need from places like Yahoo and CNN business links. There are also sources from businessweek and the wall street journal, but they will save the good stuff for paying customers. Often, companies will have their annual reports available for view, download, or request on their websites. If you want the CNN, Fortune magazine link will get you to the list of the 500 largest publicly traded companies and most have links that will get you the annual report or some really substantial information about the companies and their operations.
