No... If u buy Xbox 360 premium edition + external HD DVD drive, you'll pay almost the same for the PS3 20Gb harddisk edition... However, it depends on what games do u prefer.. If you're die hard Halo or Doom player, stick to Xbox 360...

i 'd wait for the ps3 to come out but these new systems are exremely expesive and so are the games as well
