George Bush definitely does fit the bill. And you are right, he does have a lot of people that hate him (answerer), but he comes from a family of power, that came from poverty. And for every one that hates him, there are more that supports him, this alone fits the criteria for the anti-Christ. There have been a lot of people in the last few years, especially since 9/11, that have been whispering these thoughts out loud. Especially among rumors the U S Government was actually behind 9/11. Given this, a lot of people would try hard not to say that the anti-Christ is the leading power of the U S.

I do not think the antichrist is a single individual so much a whole class of them. They probably come in a variety of colors and sexual orientations.
I believe there were 2 DC snipers.

God says that no man knows the hour of his return and im sure none know of the existence of the antichrist. You can basically say that if someone claims someone else is the antichrist, like George Bush etc..., they are not actually the antichrist. Not that you actually cared. But the Bible does say he arises from a European country.

No, fictional characters don't live in the present. Satan has no interrest or desire in emulating Jesus. It doesn't benifit him in any way to save anyone. He and those who follow his example proffit from the ignorance of men.
