okay. soooooo be her friend. it sounds like you don't have a boyfriend and you feel left out. just ask her if she can take one day out of her week to spend with just you and her. And trust me if things don't work out with her and him, and you are the friend to her that you say you are, she will come back around. it also sounds like they are a new couple so all that time together will die down. just stick by your friend because they are very hard to come by (good ones)

How old are you? I am 29 and in a similar situation. Except I didn't write my best friend a long letter telling her I didn't like her boyfriend, I just flat out told her. She doesn't change the subject . And we'll never stop being best friends either.
There isn't much you can do. Just be mature about it and deal with it. That is all I can tell you. Hopefully someday, someone better will come along and she'll drop him. But until then,....

Well really..... i kind of have the same problem but not with a friend but with my own cousin!!!!! She has been with this guy for about 4 years and now she is going to be having his baby!! Well like your friend my cousin always picks him over me and it makes me sick i mean that's my family!!! And i know its just your friend but its your best friend so i think you may see her as your family so its hard, you think "what do i do?" or maybe even "what did i do to her that she is doing this to me?" But really what your friend and my cousin don't realize is that this guy may NOT always be there but you will! And i know its hard but if she can do that to you and think there is nothing wrong with it then maybe shes not that good of a friend!!!!!!! That's the truth i mean it sucks and its hard but maybe you should let her go, and if she does not realize that she may have just lost the best friend that she will ever have then you don't need her!!!!! That's what I'm doing with my cousin who by the way is like my sister, if that's how she wants it where I'm basically nothing to her then i will be nothing to her when she needs me and realizes that she missed up!!!

1st: i think you should find something else to occupy your time
2nd: you should show her how it feels... if she is talking to you about something maybe you should tell her that "you have to go" (but come to think of it you are friends right? so lying and acting funny isnt the best way to go) uhmmm... i think you should just try your best to deal with it until she comes around.. or he dumps her for her cousin or something.. that should leave her crawling back....
if you two are as close as you say you are then she will eventually come around and realize what is going and might even start to miss you too!!.. other than that i think maybe you should try to include her boyfriend in some of your activities you do with her... try double dating or.. bringing a friend along with you so just in case they want to do their couple thing you wont be a third wheel or feel awkward or abandoned....

I have a better idea: just give your friend and her new relationship the time and space it needs to grow. I can speak from experience when I say that if you try to put a wedge between them, the one you'll end up pushing out of the picture is you.

i know exactly how you feel. she's just lovestruck. if you want her back to yourself and you are willing to be mean about it, then find something that he did in his past that she wouldn't aprove of, but don't tell her. hang it over his head. tell him to break up with her or you'll tell her. make him say that he's going to someone else. then she will have you're shoulder to cry on. but if you do not want to be mean, just be regular friends and find a new best friend until they break up. and they all break up eventually.

Sometimes you just have to accept that she has other priorities. It sucks, but it's the way it is.
