Suppose my name were Jamie and I had a daughter named Jamie. Would she be named Jamie Junior? Legally, not just a nickname.

You could give her any nickname you want. It seems like once I read that the proper way to name your daughter after yourself was to tack a cute middle name on the end, like Mary and her daughter Mary Ann or Betty and her daughter Betty Lou. I think that's pretty 1950s though.

If you wanted to name her Junior then yes, you could. Some people though have children with the same name as them and dont give them the Jr suffix. My husband and his dad have the same name and he is not a junior.

Theoretically, you can name your children anything you want to. I'm not so sure why anyone would want to make their daughter a junior though.

of coz u can...Junior is supposed to denote that there is someone in the family already having that name...

though junior in boys is more common...but the definition is not gender-biased...

i support u!!!

Actually...it would just be Jamie! I know a woman whose grandmother, mother, herself, and her daughter are all named Lucienne! Her grandmother just went by Lucienne! He mom went by Luce! She goes by Ti-Cie (petite Lucienne...ti in peTIte and cie in LuCIEnne)! Her daughter goes by Lilu (Little Lucienne...li in LIttle and lu in LUcienne)! I hope that answers your question! I also hope I didn't confuse you!!

no she is what you name her. Junior is Masculine. I suggest not doing that. Mabey call her JJ instead?
