This government is making me like it less and less. And I go back generations in this country. However, I refuse to be brassed off by the Government because that is precisely what they want.

I like England the people there are very decent and may be the most civilised on earth. Do not mix England as a country and Tony Blair as he is not a good example of the country. He is Bush's poodle!

Not a lot. It's embarrassing to have our beloved leader running around after the government of a country which shouts the loudest about democracy, human rights abuses, torture etc. and then treads everyone's rights underfoot, and that includes their own people.
On a more personal level, although I'm British and my ancestors were British, I have been verbally attacked in England because my companion and I were speaking German. Why should I be forced into the position of explaining that we both live in Switzerland and that German is our only common language? Primitive! I didn't have to of course. I could have told them to p*** off and mind their own business, but as a Brit, I felt ashamed of my country in the presence of my companion.

Yeah, I like England. The people and the government have been great friends of the U S for a long time. Our two nations went through a lot together. They went through two world wars , and that "ain't easy"

I was in England quite a few years ago. Central London is something special. The people are terrific.

You are entitled your opinion but I think you should keep it to yourself.
You should at the least explain why you do not like England so that the people who want to reply can be constructive, instead you have opened yourself up for insults and I doubt this is what you intended,or did you?
