Since you're asking about error 500, you're probably not the web server admin. 400 series errors are temporary errors while 500 series errors are permanent uncorrectable errors.

The best way to find out what happened is to ask the web server admin why you got the 500 permanent error.

Your Internet Explorer won't be able to give you more than what you already saw.

Check your Error Log, usually in your control panel, to find the specific problem. I believe this is a scripting error. The log should tell you more about what is happening.
