My sister in Arizona called someone to fix her tub/shower when the fiberglass surface needed some kind of repairs years ago. He did a good job.
But in my case, soon after buying our stationary tub and installing it in garage near laundry machines, a heavy can fell from a shelf above, leaving a 1 1/2" long crack on the bottom . We didn't want to go through the whole thing re. purchase & installation again, so I purchased a patch kit at the hardware store and fixed it: It's been over 30 yrs and the patch continues to hold. Kit came with small square of screen-type material and epoxy (which I believe I mixed in a waxed paper cup, however my memory could be faulty on that point.)
I did an ugly job. Since looks aren't important, it was OK. Also, it is not a smooth job. If it were in a bathtub, I would have to buy a new bathtub because, the patch is ugly, yellowish, rough and can catch and tear your skin. It looks like a little square of screen cloth with plastic poured over it not to neatly at that: TUB NEVER HAS LEAKED THOUGH and it has received heavy usage over the years.

I have fixed them. Get a can of expandable foam, stick the nozzle through the hole. Fill the void enough that the weak area will have sound support. Don't worry about getting it inside the tub. After it sets up, use a razor blade to clean it off. Then reuse the crap. Or as I do scrape out the hole about a 1/4" deep. get some Bondo (yep, car body filler) PATCH THE WHOLE AND PAINT WITH EPOXY PAINT

Ask at your (independent) hardware store. They almost certainly will have something for fiberglass repair. If not - the nearest marina where fiberglass boats dock.
It will likely be a two step process, the second being a catalyst.

I would try a boat store and get one of their kits. They repair fiberglass all the time.
