Is a prep course like Kaplan better than using prep books?

I used a book and really focused on the math, doing the practice problems and tests. It also came with a CD for the computer, but I didn't use it.

The really hard part turned out to be the Language section because there were a lot of analogies, and very few clues within the words to give any hint to their meanings.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I took it on the computer and it gave you a break in the middle but I didn't take the whole break, at that point I just wanted to be done with it!
