Leave the guy alone, it wasn't his fault, just a freaky divot in the turf, could of happened to any goalie, just unfortunate it was him

1. He had to kick the ball with his first touch because the strikers were coming towards him and he didn't have time to take 2 touches.
2. He couldn't pick it up.
3. The ball DID hit a divot.
4. Once commited to the kick nobody could have adjusted themselves to hit the ball in the milliseconds when it hit the divot.
5. Why did Gary Neville hit the ball straight towards the goal? That was the first thing I was told NOT to do.

Paul Robinson is just being used as a scapegoat. The team were awful. I thought Robinson was probably our best player, he kept us in the game in the first half.

If anyone seen the replay of the backpass, then they would feel sorry for Robinson, it hit a lump in the turf and hopped over his foot, as the only England player to show any signs of wanting to win this was cruel. The rest of the team was a shambles.

You Cant put the blame on him. For me if u failed u fail as a team.
They just play badly overall. I guess the manager shld take full responsibity towards their mission. He should know what is wrong with the team, but he sill Play that STUPID 3-5-2 Formation. Better buck up Mclaren or u will be kick soon!!!

better luck for the three lion in future

It was a back pass so he couldn't pick it up, he had to kick it.
There was some pressure (not much but some), he could've taken one touch first but then he might then have came under some pressure from the attacking opposition, so the best thing for him to to was to clear it. It was just unfortunate that it hit a tuft and bobbled right at the wrong time.

Robinson was Englands best player during that game.

I blame it on a croatian mole.

Well obviously not goalkeeping - his efforts were as abysmal as the rest of this pathetic, over-rated bunch of losers

Ok, so there was a divot - but he wasn't concentrating - if he was, he'd have smothered the ball or SOMETHING, just to stop it going in the back of the net! I can't quite believe how bad the England team is when they're so good individually.
