What is meant by coercive date rape?
I was reading about date rape and found this definition "If a person says no and is still coerced or forced into having sex, then a rape has occurred." I understand what it means to be forced but in the case of date rape what do they mean by coerced? Can anyone explain or give me an example of what a coerced date rape is?

Coerced rape means that a person do not want to have sex but was forced to do it. For example, a girl consented to be dated but a boy. However, the date means that they will just have dinner at home. However, the boy wanted to have sex with the girl who do not want it. Nevertheless, the boy through use of superior force was able to consummate the sex by overpowering the girl. There is rape in this case.

There's violence and then there's the threat of violence, or the threat of some other adverse effect. My mother told me of a "boyfriend" she had (now, this is a widowed Methodist Sunday School Teacher!) who forced himself on her by saying that if she didn't "give in," he would tell everyone she had, but if she did, he would not say anything. She was so ashamed it took her a couple of years to get around to telling me, and I lived a thousand miles away! I call that coerced. He didn't hold a gun or knife on her, but he threatened her in a way she could not resist.

being forced or a threat like saying if you don't do this I will do this to you making her feel intimated and scared and threated. It is the same as rape. because you did not agree to it.

they use threats or intimidation sometime following up with some sort of physical abuse to back up their threats. If some one says do what I want or I'll shoot you in the head then smacks you with the gun, you're going to do what they want whether you want to or not, therefore you've been raped.
