In theory we stayed to stop Chinese expansion.

OK ask yourself is there a dominant Chinese presence in America?? Are Americans subjugated by the Chinese?? Do the Chinese control our financial base?? Is the Chinese central government directly involved with the decision making in America... Do Americans consciously make the decision to acquire Chinese products and services??

If the Answer is NO then the 50 years on the 32 parallel was worth it.

Probably not. Look what happened anyway. Just like Vietnam. Look what happened. Vietnam also had China as an ally as North Korea does now.
That's why I think since we have such good relations with China now, countries the world over should put all the pressure on China to take out North Korea and KimJungIl. they have the resources and the ability to do it.
If they don't it will be directly China's fault when NorthKorea's nuclear program proliferates.

that's patently fake. Are you declaring the brilliant technology that served in international warfare 2 were all republicans? Are you also declaring the in hardship-free words people compared warfare are liberal democrats? if so possibly you need to compensate for the records. apparently there are a number of republicans now declaring a similar aspect about Iraq, that's time to modify the route. Your declare that those who dissent with the republican stance on the Iraq, regardless of that's, is emboldening "the enemy" is hogwash. Even Arlen Specter a staunch republican says that's unfaithful. apparently to me your blind hatred for what you call liberals is clouding your wondering, that's till the republicans now speaking out hostile to President Bush's regulations at the instant are by some skill liberals also.

I'm going to dissent and say apparently it was, in fact, worth the cost. North Korea was playing at peace.

It doesn't look that way. But then again we may be in Iraq for the next 50 years and Iran will soon have the Nukes.

At the time..........We had to do it....we made a deal with the devil for that piece of rocks and hills. Like I said, at the time we needed that spot because it was the only place we could get to watch that corner of the world. Now....I don't know. the powers that be must think we still need it............LATER
