I am a Tanzanian, but I do not quite get you when you say you need a Safari group, do you mean a company? If you need a Safari company then there are so many down there but I would suggest you check this website www.tanzaniatouristboard.com you will get the necessary infomation that you need. Check out tour operators. I would suggest Takims, Bobby tours, Kearsley or Leopard tours. check out the tourism directory there you will get detailed description of each company.
I hope you will have a wonderful time there. Tanzania is a beatiful country.

Dressed in a red tunic, a man watches his herd. His spear in his hand, he examines the vast plain to make sure no predator prowling around. This slim silhouette is not that of a shepherd, but a Masai warrior. With Kenya, Tanzania is the place where lives most of the people who try to preserve their ancestral customs in an environment where nature reigns supreme.

A safari in Tanzania with Wild Side is a chance that despite its apparent power, that nature is fragile based on a balance of increasingly disturbed by modernism. Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, nothing that these two names are dreaming being associated with a vision of nature in its purest state. It is present by offering unique landscapes for background music rumbling caused by moving hordes of zebras and wildebeest. A rustling in the tall grass tells herds giving a break for the lions, mealtime is near. In animal society, the lower the ideal prey, whether animals younger or older. A safari in Tanzania is an opportunity to observe this mode where cunning and strength are two essential elements to ensure its survival.

Don't know if you have time, but I was in Africa on safari for a month and used Frontiers Travel which also uses A&K - they are tops - go to Frontiers Travel and see if a last minute tour can be arranged - if not thru them they may have a suggestion. We made our plans 1 year in advance. Good Luck :)
