I agree with the diagnosis of circulation, you should try on of those bean shaped pillows, that way you body is aligned and you wont sleep on the hand or arm.

but the left side is the heart side and you might have a blockage that needs higher medical attention that exceed the Internet question and answer page...

Sometimes you pinch a nerve in your sleep. It is not an emergency, but mention it to your doctor the next time you have an appointment. If you haven't had a physical in the last year, this is a good reason to make that appointment.

you may have carpal tunnel syndrome. You might need to see a doctor for that. If it's in your arm as well you may need to see a spine surgeon because it may be spine related. My husband is a spine surgeon and I see this all the time. This is one of the symptoms of a pinched nerve or a bulging disc in your spine. Get it checked out. It can be fixed.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is what is was for me. Wearing a wrist brace worked for me. Definitely have it checked out by a doctor though.

You have neural compression somewhere between your hand and your neck.. If it persists, may want to have it checked.. May help if you get rid of that extra pillow.
