Fort Ter-Wer was established in 1857 to keep peace between Yuroks and settlers. Now known as the Klamath area, the lumber mill is silent, but Klamath offers a drive-thru tree, indian museum, gift shops, numerous campsites, and the August Salmon Festival. Take a walk on a narrative trail among mysterious trees.
