Take a monopoly board or something like it and make your own sticky labels with math problems on them or definitions of math concepts. If after they roll the dice they land on a problem and get it right, they ge to roll again or get points, etc. Leave some spots on the board as prize spots, like the community chest and chance spots on monopoly, ( change the names) and have cards they draw with harder problems or other things like: skip turns or reverse player order, etc. You could even incorporate counting money into it.. by rewarding certain amounts for easy to hard questions and the person who reaches a certain amount first can win.. There are all kinds of things you could do.. Email me if you want more ideas or help.. That sounds fun.. I'm not sure what age level you are making it for, but it could be changed for any age.. Good luck

Well, if you think about it, there math in ALOT of things.
There is a game called 24 out there thats based on arithmatic. You have 4 numbers, through basic operations, you must turn the numbers into 24. For example.... I have numbers 2, 3, 5, 8.
3 + 5 = 8. 8 x 2 = 16. 16 + 8 = 24. First one to solve it wins. I provided a link with a better explanation.
I like chess. There is a lot of math involved with it. You need to count the relative values of the men. You need to count what men are controlling what square. You need to do a space count to see how far advanced you are in your opponents territory. You need to count moves ahead. You need to count how fast a pawn can get promoted minus the amount of time another man can attack it. Lots of math there. It actually can be translated into algebra.
And when you learn the math in chess, it makes the game much easier to digest. Two of the world champions in chess were math professors. You might want to look into it. Anyways, best of luck.

What type of math? There are lots of games out there that deal with math: Quizmo, 'Smath, Numble and Krypto are just a few of the ones that come to mind off the top of my head. Check out Boardgame Geek to see what is in its database so you don't reinvent the wheel: www.boardgamegeek.com.

Well, make sure you include a gun and a few bullets (so the players can shoot themselves), because that will be the most boring board game on the face of this earth.
