I was doing laundry the other day and accidently dribbled a little bleach on a few spots. now i have some white spots down the hall.does anyone have any quick fix ideas on how to make this not as visiblelike a tan marker or something but maybe a little more clever. thanks for ideas.

This may sound strange, but if you have any light/medium instant tanning lotion.. Rub it into the area just a little bit at a time and let it dry.. If it is not dark enough you can do it again until you reach the exact color. That stuff will stain anything and it does not wash out! Use a Q-tip as an applicator. Hope that helps.. It worked for mine and I have the same old boring apartment carpet, LOL

Wet a teabag with hot water or dab some coffee on the area. Might be a little darker, but if it's not a bad stain it shouldn't show too badly.

if the carpet is thick enough you can go find a peice of carpet the same color and cut a square out and replace it with the new peice the same size and glue it to the pad

You could have it professionally dyed back tan or your could just put a big carpet over it.
