I also have brown eyes, and lately am usually wearing a smokey grey that I like; It goes with about anything ---- I put it on lighter for day and deepen the color for evening. Sometimes I just wear a dark grey , brown or black eyeliner alone. Try a variety and have fun, that way you won't get stuck in a rut or tire of your look!

You can wear practically any colour with brown eyes. Experiment a little and see what you like. Try a dab of silver on the inside edge of your eye to add a hint of sparkle and light. You can use slate/silver eyeliner over top a brown eyeliner , then some neutral Shadow. There are alot of hot colours out now. Why not go for a free makeover at a cosmetic counter. I would recommend Mac, which has the best and most trendy colours, plus they have the widest variety of colours i have ever seen. You don't have to buy from them, but can go and get lots of ideas on what colours to use!...have fun!

You really don't have to worry about what will go with your eyes - anything will be fine. I think finding colors that will go or contrast with what you are wearing, or just what color goes best with your skin tone, hair and eyes combined is more important. I think a ginger color with a darker brown in the crease looks nice on just about anyone. Buy some inexpensive eye shadows and play, and when you find colors you like, you can buy better brands.

I really like brown on people with dark eyes, with black eyeliner. That looks the best to me. I personally wear almost any color. If I wear a blue shirt, I wear blue eyeshadow, purple with purple, and so on. For clothes like red, grey, and black I usually wear brown or grey.

Depends on your complexion, too. I have brown eyes, too. I find purple looks the best!
Other colors that go very nicely are greens, browns and shades of pink. For blues ... it really depends on the shades...I don't particularly find blues as flattering.
The two eye shade palettes that I can't do without are:
Urban Decay Wallpaper Palette (perfect colors - all of them - if you like glitter and shimmer ie)
Lorac smokey eye palette (great colors for a smokety eye look though I do find myself using the purple and green the most ... tried the grey today but I think that made me look dull).

Natural colors generally look best. Use a dark brown on the crease of your lid for contouring. Then a nice peach or perhaps a pink (not cotton candy colored) over your lid for a splash of color. You could also use blue or green. Highlight near your brow with a buff color. Light brown eyeliner will complement the shadow well but not make your eyes look too dark.

I was wandering the same thing about my eyes, except mine are blue...
then one day i found this book, and here are some other colors that accentuate your eyes through contrast:
blue-gray,sage, green, lilac, plum, copper, warm pink and gold.
i think especially blue gray eyeshadows are beautiful on brown eyes, and if you have darker brown eyes, go with a light gold or copper, go in the crease with dark brown or black, and use a warm pink on the upper portion of your lid.

I have brown eyes and i wear silver, gold, brown, green, pink, some blues but you have to be careful. Really you can go with just about anything if you want....just watch the shades.

It depends on your skin color in addition to your eye color and the image you wish to project. Browns usually work. Pinks and certain browns may make you look like you have been crying. Some people can get by with pastel pinks, blues & greens, others look cheap and need deeper shades depending on their skin color.

I don't go with the warm/cool colors I wear what I like.....go try a few different colors on she what you like on.......browns/fawns are nice on brown eyes you can pick yo some very inexpensive shadows and try them you may find a few
