i use to be 14 and i have a 14yr and 13 yr old so here it is..your going threw adolescence and puberty so all your hormones are jumping around in side of you..there looking for there resting ground..emotions are hard to deal with..Anger is a major thing with most teens.they don't know why there angry , they just are..you have to know its normal at this stage of the game. BUT you must not keep anger inside!! don't let things build up inside that could harm you..is there a person like a best friend, teacher, mom, dad, sister, guidance counselor, pastor, kids help line, etc. there are lots of people that can give you hints on how to handle and get threw your days. asking for help is hard to do , but if you ask the right people it will help you. Also , eating right will help you have more energy. Please find someone you trust and talk to them..and keep talking till you start feeling better...maybe even your doctor..good luck!

You are sufferring from depression most likely. If there are no logical reasons for feeling the way you do, then it could be clinical depression. You should talk to your parents about how you feel and tell them that this is very serious to you and you would like to get checked out by a doctor. If your parents think it is only a phase you are going through, you can also go to the school nurse or a counselor. Depression is easy to treat so dont be scared. You will probably need to take a pill each day. No big deal. But not saying anything when your hurting inside IS a big deal. Good luck.

You are a teenager. depression is part of growing up. your body is going throw changes and this can make you overly emotional. I spent the better part of hi school depressed. You need to make your self get up and start doing something. Aerobic exercise will help. It will trigger the release of endorphins, like a natural hi. It will also help stabilize your changing body chemistry. I use to go hiking when ever I was felling down. It always helped.

It could be just regular hormones.
It could be depression though. I myself suffer from clinical depression, I felt pretty lifeless, and would snap at the drop of a hat. I also, like you, felt like doing absolutely nothing.
But, remember, it could be just hormones.
If you're worried about it, I suggest talking to your parents, or even better, your doctor. He/she can help you decide what to do and what's causing the way you're feeling.

honey at your age you are on a hormonal roller coaster. all you can do is try to think positive and remind yourself that its much more pleasant to be around some one in a happy mood than in a bad one. if you start feeling too bad talk to your mother and ask her to take you to a doctor just to make sure you are ok. depression can be treated. good luck

Get involved with your community, search for local events to be a part of. There is nothing wrong with you, you just need to get active and then when you find more activities you will not feel that way any more.

It's only hormones , the more you understand about what is going on with your body the better off you will be .
Get books on the subject . It has been a long time ago but I still remember !
