How do i use header to look up origin of email?

Question

I know how to open header, but dont know how to use it. Is there a site that will allow me to plug in the numbers and tell me origin, address, who it is register too, etc.
I thought it was "www.whois.com", but now that I check it out, I don't remember the site looking like that and there is no place to enter numbers.

well, headers can be easily forged. I mean, I could just type it and send it to you. However, if you think the header you have is legit, then start from the bottom. The first entry (if the first entry wasn't removed by security software from its original location) is where it came from.

You're probably talking about www.dnsstuff.com.
