when you first open microsoft word, the paper is vertical, how do you make it horizontally?
you know how the paper is in a "hotdog" where the length is longer than the width, how do you make it into a "hamburger" where the width is longer than the length? so that the paper is turned around sideways?

-i know my grammar is really bad but i don't know how else to explain it. :]

In Microsoft Word go to File and click on Page Setup. On the Margins tab look under Orientation and click on Landscape, then click OK.

Please note I am running Office 2003.

Open the 'file' menu on the top toolbar, 'page setup', then select landscape instead of portrait.

when the paper is vertical, it is called portrait.
when it is horizonta, it is called landscape.

you could adjust that by clicking
