Does all the sperm from the man reach the egg and only one gets lucky with the egg? or only some reach the egg to battle it out? If so, does this mean that more sperm deposited, the higher the chance of conception???

you deposit thousands ((maybe more)) in a shot. What doesn't come back out due to her flexing, works its way toward the cervix, the vagina is acidic....though not harmful enough to the skin.....and kills off about half your sperm before they enter the Uterus. Once there, they make there way to the egg. Most die off in this process. They will continue through the Fallopian Tubes looking for one if the Uterus doesn't hold one ready. Whatever sperm are left try to breach the walls of the egg. Usually only one is successful. but sometimes more than one can "score" giving us Fraternal twins, triplets and so on. The rest that didn't reach their goal die of in the next few days.

Only the strong sperm make it to the egg. Some are bad swimmers, slow, no tails, etc. Boy sperm are faster swimmers, so they usually make it there first. If the egg is there waiting, only one sperm will penetrate the shell. After one has entered, the outer shell of the egg hardens so that no others get in. If the egg is not there yet, some of the sperm live for a few days. Boy sperm swim faster, but they die first. Girl sperm live longer. So, no, not all of the sperm make it to the egg, and yes, only one gets lucky with the egg.

As i know the sperm runs 3mm per hour. Thats the average speed. Not all sperms reach the egg and depends who is stronger and who is weaker, which one is fast and which one is slow. Once the first sperm went in, the others sperms who are on the journey will hav an instant death. But dun worry, sperms are reproduced unlimited.

They don't battle it out. Once the 1st soldier reaches the egg and goes inside, the egg wall thickens and doesn't allow any other perm to get in.
