I don't know why they did, but it was a good question. I'll answer it for you too....because Wal-mart is not good for the economy. They force wholesalers to sell them merchandise at a lower price by threating them that they won't sell any of their products at all at any Wal-mart, if they can't buy what they want at the price they want. So, essentially wholesalers will have to find some way to lower their costs, and in turn will lay off people, which will put more people on unemployment. Which hurts the economy and puts people out of work. Wal-mart also will not pay fair wages to their employees. My mom used to work there.....And I WILL NOT SHOP THERE!!!

someone must have flagged it. Seems stupid though.
to answer your original question:
Because it's not as cheap as they make it seem. I'd rather spend an extra five bucks on get a better product.
Products may seem the same, but they are not, the cheaper breakable versions go to Wal-Mart.
They do not treat their employees well.
When they invade a nieghborhood/town they say that they are helping with job development, but in reality the jobs are mainly part-time and give inadequate medical insurance and low wages.
People mistake Wal-mart for a day care center and let their kids run wild.
Even though they may have a dozen or so check outs, you still have to wait 20 min. in line to buy hairspray.
Beaverton, Oregon vetoed Wal-Mart from building a store there.
One point for the little man, only 1,000 more to go, but it's okay, it's a start.

Someone who has a shine dedicated to Wal-Mart probably reported it as being a offensive question, and they can't live with the fact that anyone could hate Wal-Mart, since they go to their Wal-Mart Shrine and make competitor prices sacrifices.
Yet, I don't have a problem with Wal-Mart, I think its great sometimes, just people who report questions that don't agree with their opinion.

really that's all you said??? well I couldn't say then. But some people hate wal-mart because they are a corporate conglomerate. They pay their employees badly, treat them badly, work them just enough hours so they don't have to give them benefits, fire them for no particular reason. They are also taking business away from smaller companies. I'm sure there's lots of reasons. I like wal mart, but I would never work there.

I would guess that Yahoo and wal-mart are somehow affiliated and so they practiced censorship when one of their own was attacked.

They should tell us which term of service a question violates. I asked about PowerPoint and my question was deleted citing it violated their Terms of Service. If I understood what I did wrong, it wouldn't happen again. However, that seems to be a big secret.
