I am getting alot of definitions of padrino..I just asked if you have ever been one. We were asked by a Mexican couple to be padrinos (which can be translated to godparents, except w/o the responsibility, can also be translated as "the people that are gonna pay for the stuff") of a 2 year-old's baptism.
