hey guys got 2 questions for people who is currently a real estate agent or picture urself if u were one..

Would you rather be a full time or part time agent? What are the reasons for you to pick a full tim vs a part time position.

If part-time, how long before you can commit full-time?

If you are new to real estate, how do you plan to support yourself during the first 3-6 months?

Yea, full time is the answer because like starting any business you want to spend all of your available time on finding the cheapest marketing available. Funny enough, I have sold the most homes in local bars. People's aprehension is down, and calling them the next day, they are bright and cheery and ready to buy a home. Most of your other business should come from referrals from people who have bought from you and build from there. Just ask if they know anyone else who needs help and never be pushy. Most importantly, if you dont know the answer to a question, tell them "I don't know", find out and get back with them. people really respect that. Good luck!

It is impossible to make a profit part time in almost every market in the US.

Our group prefers to locate a low-cost house, fix it up, take a loan out on that one, buy another with those funds, sell the first one....fix up the second one....etc., etc.
