Hiyas,
What I suggest is booting into Safe mode, to do this:
Reboot your laptop,
Press F8 a few times after your bootup screen comes on, push it until you see a black screen and push up till you select Safe Mode
Now I'd login to the Administrator. Now go to start, control panel and select User Accounts.
Now select your username, and remove / change the password.
Go to start, Turn Off Computer - and select restart. Start windows normally, and use new password/ no password.
Good luck!
IM me if you need help further, jonathancw2001

You can try putting the username as guest (if its activated) with no password.
If that does not work, try administrator with no password either. If none of those work, you'll pobraly have to insert the windows XP or whatever cd came with your notebook and select "leave current parition intact" or something similar. That way you will reinstall your original OS and still have your files.

Go into "safe mode" and change or delete the password in there. To get to safe mode, reboot, then hit the F8 key repeatedly till you see a black screen with white text. Use the arrow keys to highlight "safe mode" and hit return/enter key. It will look different, but you use it the same as you would Windows. Go to control panel, user accounts, then change an account, to change your password.
