2(8-4x)=1/3(33-18x)+3
You need to isolate the x on one side of the equation
first do the 2(8-4x) to get 16 -8x
16 - 8x = 11 - 6x +3
substract 14 from both sides
2 - 8x = - 6x
add 6x to both sides, subtract 2 from both sides
-14 x = 2
divide both sides by -14
x = -2/14 = -1/7

2(8-4x)=1/3(33-18x) + 3
=> 16-8x=11-6x+3
=> 16-8x=14-6x
=> 16-14=8x-6x
=> 2x=2
= x=2/2
=> x=1

its simple algebra, first u distribute the 2 and the 1/3 to its multiplication partners Note:multiplying 1/3 is the same as diving the numbers by three
16-8x= 11-6x+3 distribute it
2= 2x divide
x=1 walla there ur answer
its funny cuz i'm a freshman in high school and i aced this **** last year

Use the distributive property.
a(b+c)=ab+ac
in this case
2(8-4x)=16-8x
1/3(33-18x)+3=11-6x+3
So
16-8x=11-6x+3
16-8x=11+-6x+3
16-8x=14+-6x
2-8x=-6x
2=2x
1=x
x=1

x is 1.
2(8 - 4x) = (33/3 - 18x/3) + 3
2(8 - 4x) = 11 - 6x + 3
2(8 - 4x) = 14 - 6x
8 - 4x = 7 - 3x
x = 1

16 - 8x = 11 - 6x + 3
8x + 6x = 11 + 3 -16
14x = -2
x = -2/14
x = -1/7
or something like that I don't know
Math has no place in the world.
