Simple subject 'eyes' simple predicate 'sparkled'

Mary's eyes would be the complete subject....

marty's eyes-----simple subject, sparkled is the verb, a predicate is a part of the sentence that states something about the subject. so a predicate is actually a noun in that it is a person, place or THING. but in this sentence, i think sparkled with delight would state something about the subject.
