Had the interview. Filled out the rest of the papers and was told to go get a drug test. Do I have the Job?

The test was only done today. Job and testing agency were advised I am on medication. They said no problem as long as I have the prescriptions. I don't do any drugs or drinking.

Sounds like probably. Typically they won't do a drug test (kind of expensive for them) if they know you don't have it.
Some companies have a real communications problem, don't they?
Ask them straight out when you ask about your start date.

The answer to this question is NO. You must understand that Interviews, drug tests, and background checks are all apart of the whole hiring process! Of course you dont want to hear this, but I thought the same thing too once before. Until oneday my misdemeanor finally hit my background record. I passed the interview, passed the drug test, but my background records showed that this job wouldnt be suitable for me, becuase of my careless actions in the past. So I didnt get the job! But good luck! If you dont get this job or even another, you have to get one eventually, you gotta eat!

In most states, the employer has to offer a position to you (hire you) before you take the drug test or physical, with the condition that the offer will be withdrawn if you fail. Congrats.

Did you pass the drug test.....usually they do not pay for the drug test unless they are ready to hire youso it depends on if you passed the test!

I assume if you pass the test which you should have no trouble doing you probably do have the job

If employer has insurance for employees, and you take medication, you might not get the job.
