Definately! With any degree majoring in the arts there are a wide range of option available to you.
Not only teaching or lecturing in your chosen subject, many universities offer post grad diplomas in secondary teaching, which you can gain access to through having a degree such as phil.
also there are plenty of jobs available both in the public and private sector, government, you name it.
having a degree in anyhting doesn't gaurantee you a job, but having a degree such as phiolosphy shows potential employers your ability to think and problem solve, and stick to a problem until you find the best solution.

This degree could lead to a variety of professions...good stepping stone to a Law degree. The one thing I learned when I took philosophy in university is that you learn to reason, think objectibely, research and argue well...

Probably if you get a teaching job. This weeks Newsweek magazine had a "My Turn" article that addresses this very topic.

If you have a PhD and can teach and publish, yes. Otherwise, no.
