the y-intercept is -6
2/3 is the slope of the graph
for every two units up, three units to the right
the y-intercept is where the line hits the y-axis, and the x-intercept where the line hits the x-axis
to find y-intercept just look at the equation
to find x-intercept replace y with zero then solve for x
in this case
y-intercept is (0,-6)
x-intercept is (9,0)

This is actually really easy when you get the hang of it. The way the numbers are arranged is actually called "slope intercept form" because it tells you the slope and intercept of the line you will graph. When you look at it, the y-intercept, or the place where the line will cross the y axis is the number that is all by itself---or in this case the -6. So, on your graph make a point at -6. From there, you need the slope, which is the number in front of the x. The slope is always rise/run, so basically up and then over. So when you look at this slope, the 2 is on top, so you go up 2 points from your -6. Then the 3 tells you to go over 3 and make a point. This new point and the first point are then connected and your done.

Maybe ask your math teacher next time. Its easier to show than explain on a computer.

You do it the same way you do whole numbers. Put in a number for x and that'll give you the answer to y. For example. If you make "x" 1 then y would be -5 1/3 so you'd graph it as (1,-5.33)...then the next point you could chose 2 as x and y would be -4.66 so the next point would be (2,-4.66)

Youre in luck Im studying that.
First you solve for X by addin ^ to both sides and then its
Y - 6 =2/3x then you multiply both sides by 2/3 and solve for x
then you solve for Y doing the same thing

I believe it's; y=23x-6\2/3x-6
y2-18
y=2 3x6
y=2x18
y=36
x=18
