The plan has always been to make seven movies, one for each book in the series. Number five is eassentially done and opens in 2007.
There is always the chance that people will lose interest, especially if they lose any of the familiar cast members. Rupert Grint has already made another movie and there has been speculation about some of the others becoming weary of their roles.
I'm a fan of the books and the movies, thanks to a then 12 year old friend, so I hope for the full series.

Assuming that the box office revenue is high then there will be 7 movies. One for each book.

all the seven harry potter books will be made to movies.only 2 more to go. i didn't count order of phoenix since they're making it right now.

There will be all the books... Felton wants to try out for Malfoy (squee) for the rest of the time. and not sure about others... But I think they should recast.. The characters are too old... or at least do it in sections cuz they skip too much
