I'm sure the manufacturer or store would say that this is a sign that the bra has served its purpose and is done for... but I understand the preference to extend its usefulness a while longer, and not having to spend the money on another just yet.
I've had success pushing the wire back into place and sewing the torn fabric closed again. However, the wire often will just break through the fabric again in a short time. You may want to push the wire back in, and wrap the end in a small piece of stronger fabric before sewing the hole closed again. This may prevent the wire from cutting its way through again quite as soon.

Every underwire I have ever owned did that...until I stopped putting them in the washing machine.
Underwire bras are really meant to be handwashed in Woolite.
All that agitation in the washer breaks down the fabric around the wire and eventually it pokes out.

there is not any helpful thank you to repair the underwire different than to purchase a sparkling bra. i might advise a on the spot IPEX from Victoria's secret. Bra's ought to in no way be washed in the device- they should purely be washed by making use of hand using fact they are so delicate.

my sister fixes her bras all the time, you simply push the wire back in as far as it will go which should mean you cant see any wire hanging out. then with the same colour cotton hand stich little tiny stiches to close up the hole that the wire keeps poking thru, its work on hundreds of bras for my sister and me so i hope it helps you to. good luck
